Meals On Wheels, Delaware

Meals On Wheels is having a great event coming up this weekend. It is called Meals From The Masters. Main event is this Friday, April 15th at The Chase Center on the Riverfront. Please visit the events website for details. http://www.mealsfromthemasters.com/

I have donated a new painting for this event. It is a framed 11"x14" painting of a Rabbit called "Suni". The rabbit is one of the rabbits which lives in The Brandywine Zoo. I have been always fascinated by Suni and was excited to have the opportunity to create a painting. I believe the painting will be part of the silent action portion of the event, and hope it raises a good amount of money for Meals on Wheels.

Friends for Responsible Pet Care's Basket Bingo

B-I-N-G-O!

Does anyone like Longaberger baskets? Does anyone like Bingo? Well if you answered "YES" to both of these questions and live in Delaware, then Atena Fire Hall is where you want to be tonight!

I'm not going to lie. If you never played basket bingo before, then the concept sounds cheesy. However I'm proud to say, "bring it on cheesy, because I love Bingo"! The prizes aren't cash, and are instead Longaberger Baskets. For all of you who don't know what they are, then the best way I can explain it is they are designer baskets. 

In addition, this particular Bingo raises money for Friends for Responsible Pet Care. I love having fun while knowing my money is going to help some furry friends.

Where: Aetna Fire Hall, Ogletown Rd., Newark, DE
Time:   Doors open at 6:00 p.m. Games start at 7:00
Price:   $20 per person in advance or $25 at the door

Did You Go To The 103rd Arden Fair This Weekend?

It was a great day this past Saturday!

It was great for two reasons:

                    1) The Arden Fair was fun and awesome! I don't know how anyone could go to Arden Fair and not have fun. I always enjoy the artists there, the environment, and the group of people who attend. If you missed Arden this year, don't worry there will be another one next year!

                    2) It was a great, because it happened to be my Birthday! I enjoyed all the Happy Birthday comments I got through Facebook and text messages. However I swear I got at least five more gray hairs that day.

103rd Arden Fair, 2010

Mark you calendars next Saturday! I'll be selling my handmade merchandise at Arden again this year, and hope many will visit my tent. For those who don't know what I sell at Arden, I'll be selling my handmade Becca Boo Bags with my pet art prints on them, regular prints, pocket mirrors, and magnets. In addition, I will also be promoting my pet portraits, and passing out brochures for pet portraits.

Arden Fair is a great place to find unique art and crafts. I highly recommend going to Arden Fair even if you have no interest in what I have to sell. There are other artists there that I'm sure you find interesting too, and entertainment, and great food.  It is a great place to spend a Saturday at, and I'm sure you can create many wonderful memories by visiting the Arden Fair.
