I have no clue why, but the book Bony-Legs was my favorite Children's book growing up. I still grin at the idea that my favorite story was about a witch that liked to eat children and lived in a hut that stood on chicken feet. For some reason, I always liked strange stories and that could be the reason why Halloween is my favorite holiday! As an artist, I look at the book's illustrations and still believe the images have character and uniqueness that brings the story to life. When I was a child, it wasn't the actual written words that made the story come to life in my mind, but the actual illustrations. All these years, the illustrations in this book have continued to run through my mind where I will never be able to forget this creepy fun book. I mention this children's book in my blog in hope that people will be inspired to read Bony-Legs to get in the Halloween Spirit!
